Fall Leaves & Warm Greetings
What I love about this time of the year (and I know I’m not alone here!) are the stunning colors that slowly edge us out of summer and into cable-knit sweaters and warm socks. While I was taking in the cool air one morning, I was reflecting how in just a few short weeks (if we're lucky), how the colors would fade and how this fiery color that painted the tree-scapes would be no more until next year.

That's when I got the idea to preserve some leaves using some spare blank cards and greeting stamps that I had lying around from previous projects! Some for keepsakes, and some to give away, to help keep the beauty of the foliage alive.

What really makes them wonderful are all of the unique shapes and shades of reds, oranges, yellows and browns that can be uncovered and preserved. Depending on the size and colors, beautiful compositions can be created.

What's also great is that these make for quick and easy preservations, since there aren't a lot of moisture in fall leaves!
